Bier Factory –
Authentic Judaica Art
–
For seventy years, the most extraordinary craftsmanship and beautiful Judaica have been produced at Bier Factory in Yerushalayim, where authentic Judaism is merged with contemporary design with utmost adherence to Torah and halacha.
This piece is an artisanal copper washing cup, made by hand in the workshop. The original concept hearkens back to the copper nechoshes in the Beis Hamikdash, and was fused with innovative, unique design to create this polished result.
Three Generations, One Workshop
–
The late Yitzchok Bier was only 8 years old when he emigrated from Germany with his family in 1935. By the age of 15, he began his studies at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Yerushalayim. Toward the end of his studies, he participated in a national design competition and created a beautiful menorah, for which he won first place. The prize he won, 40 Israeli lirot, enabled him to purchase tools and machines, which he used to open a small workshop in his basement. As the business grew and developed, he founded Bier Factories in the new industrial zone in Romema, where he was later joined by his sons and grandsons.
Today, Bier Factory stands upon a rich past with its face to the future, ensuring the relevance of Judaica in a rapidly advancing world through their father’s vision: to produce craftsmanship of the highest quality and beauty, to maximize an elegant aesthetic, and never compromise on practicality and function.
Historically Inspired Artistry
–
The glorious history and artistry of Yerushalayim and the Beis Hamikdash were cornerstones in the planning of the elite living experience at Jerusalem Estates. The building names commemorate a series of historical coins from the ancient monarchies of Yerushalayim. In the lobbies, visitors can view the restored 1,000-year-old coins, with their historical imprint apparent throughout the project’s contemporary construction and modern luxury
